Police arrested a woman after two chapels in the National Cathedral in Washington were defaced with green paint Monday, three days after similar vandalism to the Lincoln Memorial and a statue on the Mall.

    Given the no fixed address it's more than likely a case of a somewhat clinically insane citizen vice an actual pissed off citizen doing the damage.

    But this begs the question don't they have security for things like the Lincoln Memorial?

    I always assumed that they did.

    Probably be the last too, they'll more than likely be made an example for others.

    True. Even if she's nuttier than a fruitcake they'll probably still put her away for so long that paint will have become obsolete by the time she gets out.
