First thing that came to my mind, soon as I saw Dartmouth.

We've had swarmings in BC, none of the participants were black. You making a big deal about the race here, as if only blacks do this sort of thing, is what's racist. In fact we've had swarmings of non-whites specifically targeted because they were non white. No big deal to you, no slags at white people, but let blacks do this and you go into slime mode where all the racist cliches are tossed out. Face it, you're more threatened when blacks do this than whites. Fear of the black man.
The reporting should tell us the race of the people involved because none have been apprehended, and it could help identify them. Yes sometimes the media is too pc, but you relish any excuse to hurl the anti-black slime.
How is it significant that the perps were black? Does it make their actions worse than if they were lily white?

How the Hell can you bring racism into any aspect of this story? The police are doing nothing more than giving an accurate as possible description of the people they believe are involved in the attack. Anyone trying to bring racism anywhere into this story is desperately grasping for any straw possible, nothing like totally over reacting!

He's being sarcastic. The racism comes from getting all twisted about "here go those blacks again" when we've had similar incidents that didn't involve blacks. But there's no "it's that white culture that makes them do that stuff" in the latter case. So the racism is making a big deal out of the fact they were black, when they could just as well have been any other race as well. Yes, the CBC should say they were black, because it can help the public identify them possibly. But "there go those blacks again", that's racist.
