A Spring Bear Hunt!

We used to have one. It kept the bear population under control. Then some genuis in Queen's Park figured we didn't need a spring hunt and forbid it.

Now I see more bears in a few weeks than I used to all summer! Human/bear interactions are skyrocketing and people are getting hurt.

Most cities don't allow the discharge of firearms within city limits, where most of the "problem" bear/human interactions take place..... so there goes the hunt!

The solution....quit building your houses deeper and deeper into bear country, don't even think about that piece of property in the bush away from everything for your cottage/cabin.

Bears come into the cities from outside of them. Concrete jungles are not their ideal habitat.

My solution for threatening bears involves larger calibre firearms. Once upon a time, the bears up here used to be more fearful of people.

The ones we're dealing with this year are some of the most bold I've ever seen.

Let the bears pay the bear tax! I already pay the Thanos MacHitler tax!

I think a Bear Patrol would work better than a hunt.
