The judge then admonished the people who had threatened Whitlock publicly in the past, saying Whitlock must be able to live without fear of criminal vigilantes who want to avenge the dog's death.

If I was this piece of shit I'd be looking over my shoulder and avoiding dark alleys for the rest of my life....Whitlock beware....

A double-tap to the nape of the neck would have been far preferable justice for this speck of slime. Hopefully Anonymous is onto him like a dirty shirt and an endless doxxing ensures that he never has a safe bank account, credit card, or driver's license for the rest of his worthless life.

Shooting him would be too quick. Death by fire is more fitting.

I'd say beat the shit out of him with a bat, stab him once or twice, wrap him in a filthy blanket and then throw him into a dumpster behind a Chinese restaurant in Vancouver's downtown east side....in the middle of summer.

Nowhere near a long enough sentence.

Hopefully Karma is real and he gets mauled by a rabid Pit bull while trying to staunch the bleeding he received from the beating administered by a random dog owner.

I had to put down my dog not too long ago that looks a lot like the dog shown here. I'll bring a couple of baseball bats.

I understand an animal's life doesn't have the same value as a human life and results in a reduced sentence, but what about the heinousness of this crime?

This isn't about simple abuse, like chaining a dog up for his whole life, or not feeding them properly. This is malicious and borderline torture. Clearly something is wrong with this guy. He should at least have forced mental examination, which would no doubt end in his being admitted to a psychiatric institution.

I'll insert some nails into your bats for you if you would like.

All I know is that anyone who hurts any animal for their own sick pleasure ends up occupying the same circle of Dante's Inferno as those who hurt children.
