Seems every few months they tell us yet again about how we are over-due for a big one. Like we don't know we live in an earthquake-prone zone.

I think it's a marketing ploy to get everyone hypped up and out shopping for "emergency supplies".

Crap. I have to admit that when I came on the site just now my heart jumped into my throat on seeing "BC Mega-Earthquake"! 8O

Visions of a flattened Vancouver or Victoria flashed through my mind.

Can't even begin to tell any of you how I hope that never happens!

We can recycle some images of post-apocalyptic Vancouver if that helps.

It's not a case of "if" but "when". If I lived in the region, I think I'd want to have a reasonable level of preparedness.
