ERT, which began broadcasting in 1938, is funded by a direct payment of 4.30 euros (?3.80; $6) added monthly to electricity bills.

Do you think those charges will now be dropped from the bill ?

Greeks take cash from banks ahead of key elections.

If, for some insane reason, you have money somewhere in Greece, get it out.

    Why worry ?
The IMF is slowly reporting another bailout needed, to make up shortfalls,
5-8 billion Euro. Remember Cyprus ?

Now maybe we can get the USA to stop taxpayer funding of National Public Radio and the Public Broadcast System.

If we did that 90% of the liberal talk shows would go off the air.
