The father of a deaf man from Kamloops, B.C., says his son was robbed and pushed over a three storey railing while staying at a resort hotel in Mexico.

    What's with the title of this story? Why does it matter if the guy was deaf? Speaking as a parent of a DHH child if this happened to my kid I would not be making sure people knew my kid was DHH? Anyone who is robbed and shoved three floor the ground gets the same amount of sympathy from me, as they should. Now if they were targeted due to their disability that's another thing but his story says nothing to indicate that. The parent just seems to want more sympathy. Being deaf, in this case, is a moot point.

    I guess that if he wasn't deaf, they would have never published the story.
