Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad finds himself in yet another controversy after pictures -- both real and doctored -- showed him comforting family members of the late Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.

It would just prove that Ahmadinejad doesn't have any real power in his country... so in other words, it wouldn't change a thing. If he does have power, it just shows that there are bigger nutjobs than him in Iran.

I'm not sure what the legal implications are; hopefully someone else does.

He very clearly violated Iranian law by touching, in public, a woman he's not related to. However, he wasn't in Iran and didn't break any Venezuelan laws. Though even if he did break Venezuelan laws, I assume the President of Iran travels with a diplomatic passport.

When in Rome, do as the Romans... I'm sure he would have insulted Venezuelans by not touching.

...expressing emotions is improper for the dignity of the president of a country like the Islamic Republic of Iran

News to me. I've never seen the Iranians complain about Imadinnerjacket when he rages about Israel or the USA. Maybe it's okay to express murderous rage according to Shiite islam. But expressing grief and ? Oh, that's .

He's really going to be in shit when pictures emerge later of him holding a beer and pork chop at the wake.

Why not just cut to the chase and have the Democrats nominate him for POTUS in 2016?

I'm sure we can come up with a Hawaiian birth certificate for him. XD

Why not, I would consider him more moderate than most Republican candidates.
