My god, if they tried doing something like that here a good number of CKA members would now be posting from the hoosegow! If they didn't lose their privileges for poor behaviour, even behind bars....

Can't take any chances with those 12 year old girls.

Who knows, she may have rode down on her pink BMX and started pulling hair or slapping if the police didn't arrest her.

This is a direct result of ridiculous "zero tolerance" rules. Someone complained that she threatened them and now she gets arrested.

You guys are sure spouting off. The OP says nothing about what the threats were or how credible. 12 year olds have been known to do some nasty things. Take the 14 yo that used a gun in Alberta - is it really beyond the realm of reason that this girl could do something like that. If these are serious threats, being arrested might be the best thing to stop it in its tracks. Arrested is a long way from being found guilty and imprisoned.

I was just thinking that... Some of the 12 year olds I know are certainly not riding little pink bikes anymore...

This is the second kid in Brandon this month arrested and charged for online threats.

Maybe things are a little different now, but when I was that age if the police were to arrest and charge kids for uttering threats half the school would be in court. Kids talk alot of shit.

The key is figuring out how credible a threat from a 12 year old girl is.

Really depends on what she said. I suspect it was pretty serious.

The girl from Medicine Hat that had her 20 something year old BF help slaughter her family was 12.

Not all little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice.

    Not around here.

Even the suspicion of a crime gets you convicted in the minds of most. Being arrested just makes that sentiment even stronger.

Guilty before proven innocent; the CKA way.

    Knowing a 12 and a 13 year old girl, I realize a few things.

Namely, they are worse people than any adult I've ever met, their words are just utterly vicious... and scary 8O O

I've met scarier adults by far.
