A Vancouver man already accused of using a cellphone to videotape himself torturing a kitten is facing even more charges, after the discovery of another 36 videos showing animal cruelty.
Lorie Chortyk, the B.C. SPCA's general manager of community relations, said the 36 videos are extremely disturbing, and depict sickening torture and abuse.
"While we cannot disclose details regarding the new videos, it would be fair to say that they contain truly some of the most shocking and horrifying images that we have ever seen," she said.
Please do not disclose the details. What has been said above is enough.
The maximum sentence for animal cruelty, a criminal code offence, is five years in jail, a fine of up to $10,000 and up to a lifetime prohibition of owning or having custody of animal.
May the maximum be setenced. It's not nearly enough though.
And I agree 1Peg... this lower-than-scum useless shithead has the potential to move on to bigger prey. At least he is in custody for now.
Can't get much worse than something like this, send him to jail, put him in general population, then play his videos for his fellow inmates......then go for a loooooooooooonnnng cup of coffee, or two.
I hope he goes to prison for the maximum and has some big fekin inmate toruture him for sport. Then, when he gets out the SPCA should put picture posters up all over town warining people to guard their pets when he's around.
And if that's an infringement on his rights, tough he's a predator who'll at some point probably do the same thing to children that he did to those kittens.

I made the mistake of reading the article the past time this asshole came up,
won't do it again.
The only thing worse will be the slap on the wrist he will get.
He better hope I never get the chance.
