Critics question RCMP methods in probing homeless woman's assault

When I saw this on the news tonight I got so mad I wanted to kill someone. This crime goes beyond despicable and the blase way the Mounties are treating it is just as fucking bad.

How can a person or persons do this to another human being, FFS kill them then at least they didn't suffer like this but doing this to another living creature defies logic.

But, my guess is that since it was just a homeless woman we'll never see her attackers brought to justice which is pretty much like the lady said.



I guess for the Mounties a horrific assault on a homeless person isn't quite high profile enough to bother warning the public about.

It is horrific that shit like this happens. And to have it happen to someone who is already vulnerable to being becoming a victim of a crime because of the circumstances they are in... too terrible for words.

This type of crime against should be a cause for public concern and the RCMP should have issued a public warning.

It stinks that anyone gets assaulted, but if you're homeless you increase your odds given that you're already outside of society's umbris of protection.

What if she was assaulted for reasons other than homelessness and just for agruments sake let's say this happened to a soccer mom walking her poodle, would the mounties issue a warning for women to take care?

My guess would be yes but, since this woman was homeless, they decided on their own not to issue a public warning despite the fact they don't really know or have any evidence as to the reason she was attacked.

So why isn't it all over the media? Here's the media attacking the police for not putting this story all over the media. The media doesn't need the RCMP's permission to publicize this. You can bet that if this was a soccer mom, and the RCMP didn't release a press release, the media would be off and running with the story anyway. Time to look in the mirror.
