Reprimanded? What the h3ll does that mean? "Ok mr. chisvin, you were bad, go sit in the corner for an hour and then we'll give you your gavel back". How could a guy who behaves in this fashion be trusted to be a judge, trusted to be an impartial person when reviewing cases in front of him?

    Nothing, nothing at all.

Bad idea. People get elected by making promises. We don't want judges having favours to repay. We have enough politicians in positions of power without turning them loose on the judiciary.

Politicans are already in the pockets of those who can pay, do we want the same for judges?
