"Benn" said I remember when a snowfall like this in Winnipeg would hardly be newsworthy.
A couple of memorable snows for me were Easter of 92, visiting my wife's family, We got nailed by a storm that dumped 72 cm of albino brain chiggers in a day. The day before we'd been in Virden and everything was dry. 2004 was also a snowy year. The week before our youngest was born Winnipeg got dumped on ...May 12th I believe and when we came home for Christmas in 04 Winnipeg was buried on New Years Eve. That was OK because the following week we were back overseas, where the temps never dropped below 3 - 5 C at night....mind you the fog literally was pea soup on Kinmen..
You could have told me you were coming by to shovel my snow. Geesh. Why did you do the neighbours driveway???
I dunno....think it might have been that image of you with your locker hanging out and a half empty 24 of Lucky and big bowl of mostly empty zuurkool that tipped me off as a place to avoid.

It's amazing how people forget how to drive in winter over the summer months though. Driving on the perimeter today, there was a good mix of people driving 40 Km/h, and the ones driving 120 Km/h. That's tough to deal with at any speed.
