When I look at some of the politicians who have been successful in Europe, I don't feel so bad about ours. I think Americans can probably say the same.

Don't bet on it.. the ban would only be 3 years, and if another case looks like it will bad for him, he can quickly jump back in to get his immunity back.
No jail for Silvio, no money for Italy either.
