Hey, Nobel Peace Prize committee: Canada isn’t at war, either
Kelly McParland: Canada has never started a war with anyone, anywhere, so where's our prize? Costa Rica doesn't even have an army. How about a peace prize for that?
Nope. They need to pay taxes themselves. The Netherlands has a 21% sales tax (it was just raised. AGAIN). Guess where all those taxes go to? The EU. Or, in short, Greece. The Netherlands PAYS 312 euro's per capita per year, Greece RECEIVES 391 Euro's per capita per year. That's without the loans.

I put it in the funny section for a reason.
Ranks right up there with the one they gave Obama for nothing at all.
The value of the Nobel Peace prize however, has been reduced to completely meaningless for years.
Give the prize money to Greece - they need it.

They had to give the EU some kind of prize. At least it wasn't the one for economics.
