Tony Nicklinson, a man with locked-in syndrome who fought for the right for doctors to legally end his life, has died after refusing food since last week.

    I hate these stories. Can't imagine having to live like that, or more accurately can imagine too well.

    Well, he did accomplish what he wanted albeit probably not the manner in which he wished.

    He said he "could not execute the right to end his own life... suicide"... In most countries, suicide is illegal, so that statement is wrong...

    I find it ironic that the police force is not investigating his death.
    Dying is what he fought for. Now it turns out he could have done whatever he wanted, they are not investigating anyway?

    RIP Mr. Nicklinson.

    RIP... Spent a great deal of time here in the UAE. Somewhat of minor celebrity in expat rugby circles.
