Canada shocked the field of the men's 4x100-metre relay competition by earning an apparent bronze medal on Saturday before being disqualified moments later. The Jamaicans, meanwhile, broke their own world record en route to a gold medal.

    Why not, because this year it seems it's not really how good you do, but how stricly you can follow the rules to the letter.

    I googled the 4x100 relay video results and found a couple of them but when I went to run them I found that they'd all been blocked by the International Olympic Committee because of copyright issues.

    To bad because I wanted to see the race since out guys did so well DQ not withstanding and I would have liked to have seen Jamaica set a worlds record.

    ......... :cry: Well at least we have Coldstone Creamery. Once amonth or two I have an apple pie or a peanut butter cup sundae....Then I have a nap.

    The hard part about it all is that the board showed the Canadians as having the Bronze when the judges were still unsure so they ended up stripping the Canadians off the list after the athletes believed they had won a medal.

    ROTFL Nuh uh...I'm going to die of a coronary while relaxing and doing something pleasureable.....not running from a bear or some other large mammal with pointy ends.
