After 10 years, Canada's contribution to ‘next-generation Hubble' is ready

A decade has gone into building Canada’s contribution to the biggest space telescope ever made, all finished now except for shipping it to NASA. The James Webb Space Telescope will replace the aging Hubble. It’s scheduled for launch in 2018.
