How about a ban on gangs? Or a ban on gangbangers shooting people? Did you think of those?

Some people get fat, let's ban food.
Some people drown, let's ban water.
Unwanted pregnancies or STDs, let's ban sex...

Playing with yourself will still be legal so you don't need to sweat it!

Just another fucking loon from Doltons government. Best just to do the opposite of whatever his government wants because they are always wrong.

Does the AG believe the handgun used was a legal registered handgun?
Is the belief that if you make legal handguns illegal in Canada the USA is going to vanish cutting off the supply of cheap illegal handguns?
Or is this just a vote fishing saber rattle?

Maybe the cause of the shooting was not the legal status of handguns, but the nature of the people doing the shooting and being shot at.

Please stop trying to blame the criminal. In Doltons government inanimate objects are at fault and the criminal is just a victim.

I’ve never been one to condone banning anything, but I have always wondered why anyone needs a handgun? It’s only use is to shoot humans, and to be easily concealed so you can carry it around on your person and have it more handy to shoot humans.

Do I support a ban? I don’t think so... But I do support strict rules on ownership, carrying and use. We don’t live in the wild west.

Oh, yeah? Well next time somebody shoots you, you're going to wish you had that handgun for them to pry out of your cold, dead, hands.

And we already have such restrictions.

Hobby, target shooting. I could easily ask why does anyone need a 500hp car, but we have no issues with them owning one.

    Wrong, see above.

I have no issues with registering handguns and demanding PROPER training to own one.

It seems that this government would rather go after law-abiding citizens while ignoring the criminal element.

I practiced with a BB handgun when I was young.
We even played darts using them (these could shoot small darts).

I have NEVER shot a real handgun. I don't think I've ever held one in my hands.
