Guess we need armed guards at all our memorials.

When did it become OK to do shit like this in Canada ?

A couple of Claymores and a fire hose to clean up in the morning would work too.

There's no respect for teachers, and there's no respect for the police or the law. Why does it come as a shock that there's no respect for those who truly understood what sacrifice, duty and respect was really about?

The left has spent seventy years tearing down the notions of morality, honor, decency, and tradition and this kind of thing is the predictable result of their efforts.

It seems to happen quite often over here. There were a couple of incidents not long ago. One involved a very drunk student pissing on a memorial and the other was the son of one of the Pink Floyd band swinging from a flag on the Cenotaph in London during the student protests. Same old excuses, drunkenness or I was caught up in the moment and wasn't thinking straight. Whatever, pretty much every squaddie gets pissed out of his tree very regularly, but we still wouldn't piss over a memorial. Shop doorway maybe but memorial definitely not.

I kinda think the person responsible won't be coming forward. Cowards never do.

Sadly, respect is a lost practice. People don't respect their fellow man, and some don't even respect themselves. Hence the current state of society.

Two people looking at the same picture see different things.

Those signs you see up there may save more lives (including soldiers) than your blind support for the troops.

    A statement attracts the example.

    Funny that.

You see what here exactly? And if I call out the gay bashing, would it be because of my blind support for equality for all?

What? How is my support for the troops blind? You are aware that supporting troops does not equal supporting deployment right?

And how do you figure those signs save lives? Please, do enthrall us with your wisdom.

I believe those protesters express an anti-war sentiment. They may still support the troops, just not the cause.

See what you want to see, as I said. I have no idea where those pictures were taken and what those people were thinking. It is entirely possible that, yes, we are looking at a bunch of stupid people.
