hopefully no one does a modern Dresden-firebombing raid on a Western city...
as for the body-disposal issue, I hear Iceland has a few nicely active volcanos that have an opening big enough ;-)

I find this awesomely macabre.

I have a friend who has gained quite a bit of weight since he left the military. Recently I decided tough love was needed, so I said since he's getting up there in years we should go to the old folks home and see what difficulties his weight might cause as he ages.

To his surprise, there were no overweight people in the old folks home. How odd! So we went coffin shopping. The market for 'double wide' coffins is actually brisk. Sadly brisk. The mortician told us that basically you can't have pall bearers with these coffins, because 6 men just can't lift them and the occupant at once. They needed a small electric forklift thingie to move them in and out of the place where the memorial will be held, so the place should be wheelchair accessable, but still might not accomodate the coffin.

I sure hope the 'scared straight' tactic works, because disgnating him with his own postal code hasn't.

Frightening stuff Caleb... Hope your mate took it to heart! 8O All the best to him! Perhaps he should get back into his PT schedule, discharged or not...

The sheer size of people these days is getting ridiculous
