    What is Mexico doing about this? And why are Canadians still going there in droves?

    The Mexican gov't other than the politicians in Mexico City have no interest in stopping this crap because the drugs that fuel these horrific crimes pays them very well to keep their eyes averted.

    If W5 can go to Sinhalo State and find Joaguin Guzman walking about Culiacan like the Lord of the Manner with police and military watching him it's pretty appparent that away from Mexico City drug money rules.

    So as long as it does we're gonna keep seeing people murdered and put on display as reminders to the other gangs and politicians that there's nothing anyone can do to stop it.

    As for all those budget concious Canadians who feel the need to travel to Mexico to save a buck, good luck.

    Very brutal people which make the Taliban look like pussies, as with the randomness of the internet I came across a video of execution of two of their own, for losing a load of dope I think while crossing into the US.

    One dude has his head lopped off by a chainsaw and the other was literally butchered with a knife. Not to mention endless such brutalities recorded and reported of the Mexican drug cartels.

    Their plan to make a run for the border fell to pieces.

    *THIS* is what Arizona is complaining about with illegal immigration because this stuff is spilling across the border. Fairly recently there was a car pulled over in Phoenix with a bag of heads in the trunk.

    All true. Mexico manages to make the sandbox look pretty mellow.

    True, maybe the US should worry and concentrate more of what is happening in its own back yard first than starting wars half way across the world. The drug cartels have cost and ruined more lives in the US than any terror organisation or attacks.

    Again, I concur 100%.

    Wow, all those heads that are being chopped off in Mexico are because the US is fighting the Taliban?

    Who would have thought that anybody could have made that link....

    a) Nothing because human life is contemptuously cheap there;

    b) Because the party never stops for those who like living their lives that way. Lots of money to be made too for Canadian gangsters who are willing to take the risk of doing business there. Not my cup of tea but the criminal and hedonistically-minded look at things differently than normal, properly-adjusted people do.

    This idiocy will never end until the black market stops providing them with funds. Nobody wins the drug war, it just goes on and on costing more and more money and lives.

    Yeah, it kinda sucks having a lawless cesspool to one's immediate south, doesn't it? :wink:
