Garth Webb was the driving force behind the Juno Beach Centre, which commemorates Canadian efforts in World War II.

    I of course have been to the Juno Beach Center..

    It's not bad, bit short on Dday military actions, but longer on Canadian culture of the time.

    I saw that on the CBC National last night. He was the driving force behind the Juno Beach Centre. I hadn't realized it till last night that he was in the same Regiment as one of my uncles.
    Just more of the greatest generation.

    I've visited the Juno Beach Centre and I think it is fantastic - especially the memorial on the beach with the motto troops were told to memorize.
