Garth Webb was the driving force behind the Juno Beach Centre, which commemorates Canadian efforts in World War II.

I of course have been to the Juno Beach Center..
It's not bad, bit short on Dday military actions, but longer on Canadian culture of the time.
Thank you Garth for putting it together.
Thank you Garth for your service to our country.
RIP

I saw that on the CBC National last night. He was the driving force behind the Juno Beach Centre. I hadn't realized it till last night that he was in the same Regiment as one of my uncles.
Just more of the greatest generation.

I've visited the Juno Beach Centre and I think it is fantastic - especially the memorial on the beach with the motto troops were told to memorize.
RIP Mr. Webb.
