Sex offender Graham James gets 2 years in prison

aaaaaaaaaaaand yet another joke of a sentence, no surprise there.


It is a real shame that we spend so much time protecting criminals.

And concurrent sentences are joke.

Let's see him do 2 years for EACH boy he raped.


Minimum sentences need to be brought in.

I thought they were - the crime bill passed.

Disgusting. This is just about as fucking bad as his last sentence. I guess with good behaviour he'll be out and coaching kids in Europe again within a couple of months.


But on the plus side, he won't be able to get a pardon this time so his past should start to follow him a little more closely which makes the world just that little bit safer from vermin like him.

Not if I have anything to do with it.


We should all keep our eyes on this asshole, make sure he doesnt hurt

I agree the sentence is a letdown but he IS getting 2 years for EACH offense to be served concurrently. You may wish to read the article before commenting next time.

It's still only two years. Practice what you preach and learn the difference between consecutive and concurrent ...hmmmmmm

1 two year sentence, or 10 concurrent... doesn't make much of a difference.

I could understand a 2-year sentence if this was a 1st offence, but this guy's already served 3 years for Sheldon Kennedy. New trial, new charges...now a repeat offender under the eyes of the law. 2-years is a disgrace to justice. He ought to do a dozen.

I don't think he's a repeat offender in the eyes of the court.

If I remember correctly they can't open up your file in court and use past convictions or charges against you if you've been pardoned and this human bag of shit was given a full fucking pardon.

Thank christ that law's been changed and now the prick will be in the sex offenders registry for ever.

Yeah, I wondered if the pardon had any play in this disaster. How did he ever get a pardon? I understand that people make mistakes and, in some cases, deserve/earn pardons. But I don't view what James did as pardonable. Breach of trust offences shouldn't be eligible for pardon.
