German 'celebrity' bunny dies after cameraman steps on him

An earless baby bunny that was a rising star on Germany's celebrity animal scene had his 15 minutes of fame brought to an abrupt end when he was accidentally stepped on by a television cameraman.

    Awwwwwww..... poor wittle bunny....

    Now, why was it on the floor, seemingly loose? If he was such a "celebrity" he should have been in a pen or cage of some sort so that he wouldn't hop away.

    As an owner of an eight-year-old rabbit, this actually makes me a bit sad. Ears or no ears, that was one cute rabbit. :(

    "No-Eared Hare" is the name of a great German film from a couple years back...

    I highly recommend it!
