CBC News has obtained evidence that unregistered voters got on the voters' list in the Toronto riding of Eglinton-Lawrence in the last election without providing an address, in violation of Elections Canada's own rules.

    Holy powderkeg Batman.

If this turns out to be what it smells like, I'm forecasting shitstorms.

Well, the whole robo calling thing being 'exposed' is going to shine a light on some of the dodgy practices that all political parties have been doing (and getting away with)for years.

If they all cheat equally does that mean it was actually a "fair" election? If not, do we just feel agrieved for the losers because they weren't as good at cheating as the winners?

Also, how come no one is trying to cheat by bribing me to vote for them? I really could use some extra spending money.

I understand vote bribery used to consist of a big shot of whisky or rum. I could live with that.

Nobody gets to put a sign on my lawn anymore. Wankers the lot of 'em.

I vote for the least shite of a shit bunch. Hardly inspiring eh?

Watching Rae spout off is enough to make me vomit and watching the Tories wriggle and make excuses is just as puke-inducing. The sales-guys are running the country.

This has been going on in the USA for quite a long time now and anytime someone suggests that voters should have to show ID when they vote or that dead people should be purged from the rolls it's denounced as racist by Democrats.

Gee, I wonder who benefits the most from dead and fake voters with fake addresses?

This is all Elections Canada. My wife who has lived in Canada since she was 7 or so years old has always voted when old enough. Only one year I tossed her under the bus and told the people at the door there was only one Canadian citizen living here.
The next time they came around she answered the door.............and was back on the voters list. They don't ask to see any proof other than ID when you vote.
