Will ongoing economic uncertainty about the eurozone push Iceland into the stable arms of the Canadian dollar? While the question may have seemed a loonie one only a decade ago, the idea has been gaining traction recently among Icelandic investors.

Instead of our money, they should switch to our banking system.

Not sure what advantage this would be for them. Seems to me that there is far more options by having One's own currency.

I'm not sure why sharing Arctic geology would matter, but using another's country's currency isn't that unusual. The U.S. dollar is the only official currency of Ecuador and El Salvador.

Iceland is (was maybe!) very expensive. Mega taxes. They would be better reviving the Kroner and linking it to the Can Dollar. Having other peoples money circulating in your country really is micky mouse.

If you mean Bjork the djork, nope!

In the event that any of this comes into play, I'm proposing a new C-flag as well as a new provincial flag and currency.!cid__2_077DA320077DA0F8005FDD868725799C.jpg
