If he was in Germany his gonads would be guillotined.

In some parts of the world lined up against the wall and shot.

Both fitting punishments, but considerably less than he deserves.

I'd like to see the pope come out and start excommunicating these sick pricks, it may not mean much to the real world but in the non secular life of the Catholic Church it would at least send the message that even God's pissed and won't forgive your sins.

This is reason #1(a) why my kids will never set foot in a church.

It would be VERY nice if the Church would finally take a stand.
I like your idea very much.

8O   WTF!!! Smith consented to be held in custody after he appeared in court Thursday.

The catholic church is just another fucking cult, and it's long past time that it was regarded as such and shut down!

And these are the same guys who, in the United States right now, have allied themselves with the hardcore fundamentalist GOP right-wing and are calling themselves the final judges on women's reproductive issues. It'd be a "fucking LOL" moment if it weren't so tragic and maddening.

Fortunately these group are 100% un-electable. They can get their group as ideologically as pure as they like but when it comes to a general election they aren't going anywhere (Thank God).

Hopefully you're correct and the 2010 mid-terms were just a fluke. If the advance of the religious radicals, including Catholics like Rick Santorum, who want to get rid of all birth control period and not just abortion, isn't halted soon then I really hate to think what's going to happen next in your country.

If that's the way it turns out that would make two of us.
