    Very cool, but I have to imagine each round is going to cost a few hundred bucks each (unless economies of scale kick in huge). Then again you shouldn't need more than one per kill if it actually works. I guess it'll make the art of sniping obsolete.

    I saw a similar test IIRC on 'Future Weapons'.

    Self guiding mortar round. They fired it 1/2 mile off target, over 10 miles or something and it still hit the target dead on.

    Very cool!

    Aside from the military, Sandia Labs said potential customers for the bullet could include law enforcement and recreational shooters.

    I don't know about those in Albuquerque, but I don't know of many here in Canada who shoot the Ma Deuce for recreational purposes, or for any other reasons either.
