No, The way to treat them would be the same way General Pershing in the Phillipines discouraged violent Islam.
Keep in mind though that it is easy to start thinking of this group as being representatives of Islam in general. It is not, 98% of muslims just want to live in peace. The nut JO plotting these bomb attacks are like any other terrorist group, what ever there cause is is irrelevant. They need to be squashed.

You do realize there is not one shred of evidence to verify that story. It is essentially an urban legend. That kind of act would have run completely against Pershing's character.
