Tunisia has cautiously added its voice to calls from Qatar for direct intervention to stop the bloody crackdowns on protesters in Syria.

    all the more reason for the West not to interfere, like they did in Libya. If Assad is overthrown, then we can offer help to the new government...and strongly encourage them to write a constitution before they hold elections, that upholds Syria's current secular and egalitarian society(secular and egalitarian by Arab standards). The Syrian minorities[Druze(4%), Kurds(8%), Shia Muslims(15%) and Christians - 10% of the Syrian population, which is the same in Egypt] are feeling a little uncomfortable seeing how other 'revolutions' have gone.
