    Everyone sing:

    2 minutes to midnight
    The hands that threaten doom
    2 minutes to midnight
    To kill the unborn in the womb

    <headbang>

    These folks have been predicting doom more often than religious cults. Ignore this and go back to your coffee.

    I don't think ignoring the omnipresent threat of nuclear devastation is wise. We should remain calm, of course, but to ignore it? Ignorance is bliss no doubt, but knowledge is power. We can do far more to prevent it by knowing the threat is there.

    Whoopee. We know the threat is there (North Korea, Iran, etc.) and we do f*ck all about it. May as well ignore it rather than worry about something we're not going to fix.

    Not an option. We Succeed/Fail based upon our actions. Not the Intervention of some Fantasy Sky Daddy.

    While you and God may not be acquainted He has bothered to show up in my life and I'm the better for it. Don't expect me to go preaching the Bible to you, I don't roll that way, but I will say that for myself I have no doubts. Sadly, I did before and it was only because He did something that my doubts were removed.

    I've got all the faith of the Apostle Thomas. Nothing to be proud of, mind you, because for me it is knowledge and not really faith.

    Pray tell, would you accept American intervention in authoritarian states with either a history of WMD development or even current WMD development?

    This is why you throw your hands into the air and choose doing Nothing. Religion poisons the Mind. We are on our own, sorry.

    Depends. Clearly such intervention has been going on though. Not all Action requires Military Action.
