Marchand? Wasn't he the same loser last year that crammed his gloved fingers in someone's mouth during last year's playoffs than whined like a bitch about being bit?

At least Lapierre isn't injuring anyone with dirty plays. And if anyone is a POS then its Julien and Chiarelli making lame ass excuses for that other POS Marchand

You can't say anything when you defend a turd like Lapierre.

He's just a piece of shit as Marchand, but more of a chiken-shit.

"Hit"? That was barely a push. Dangerous, for sure, but you are over stating the case here.

I'm not defending Lapierre, He is far from my favorite player. I'm just tired of all the bullshit coming out of Boston. The Canucks are arrogant, they're dirty, they are hated. Well guess what the bruins are arrogant, they are dirty ( Charra, Lucic, Marchand) And if you asked people in Montreal or Buffalo or New York, Philadelphia I bet the bruins aren't too popular. And I'd like to see how brave Marchand would be without Thorton and Lucic holding his hand

Marchand got alot less than what he deserved. He's starting to walk that fine line between hockey and hooliganism that other famous instigators have walked before. Guys like Avery, Linesman, Lapierre, Cooke and Claude Lemieux.

Despite the fact that Marchand can play hockey wwhen he wants to, I suspect Shannahan is gonna be seeing alot more of him before his career fades away to oblivion like that other twit Sean avery.

Those who are defending Lapieceofshits actions while calling Marchands suspension not being long enough have no fucking clue about hockey let alone the intent to injure rule.

Lapieceofshit needs to be beaten within a inch of his life.

Proof of LaPierres actions? Until something is provided, I'll just assume you're whining.

SO are you trying to say that Marchand wasn't t rying to injury Salo when he drove his shoulder into his knee? SOunds like you don't know much about the intent to injure rule.

What about those of us NOT defending LaPierre who still think Marchand's suspension wasn't long enough. But ya know what? This isn't just about Marchand or LaPierre, it's about an apparent lack of respect that's growing in the league.

I still say, once it's been decided a player will be suspended for intent to injure, the suspension should be a minimum of 5 games to a maximum of the length of time the injured player is medically unable to play.
And if you're irresponsible enough to end someone's career with a cheap-shot, start planning out your retirement.

Just watched the clip... repeat offender and it couldn't be more clear what the intent was.

He should just be relieved that he ONLY gets a 5 game suspension.
