Sayed Shah Sharifi has been rejected by immigration officials who questioned his decision to go public with his complaints about a bogged-down system.

    I have to agree with Immigration on this one, if his life was in danger there is no way he would have had his name and picture published in a national paper than can be viewed from any internet connection.

    When I was overseas with him he used every opportunity to keep his face covered whenever he went out into the public view. In so far as even talking to locals inside the FOB's. Personally I think he was screwed either way, do I have a reason why, no.

    For one thing, the Taliban knew Sharifi’s face long before his picture appeared in the Toronto Star
