Mother Nature put on a light show Monday night as a rare blast of plasma from the sun led to a wild display of northern lights right across Canada and as far south as New Mexico in the U.S.
Not my first time seeing aurora's, but my first time seeing blues, yellows, and reds. Had a bunch of brits here in wainwright, their first time seeing the auroras ever. Was neat.
We're lucky if you can see more than a handful of stars here..even on a 'clear' night. If you head up into the mountains or are out at sea it's a little more spectacular, but I miss seeing things like the aurora dancing in the sky.
There was a big CME (coronal mass ejection) from the Sun on the weekend. They could see the Aurora in Tennesee!
I get those too every morning after I drink Mexican beer.

It's a good thing you don't drink Moosehead ale then......and it's ejection, not erection, or is the dyslexia kicking in again?
