Fire the PR retard who thought this wouldn't get out.

Administrators at the mall say the Legion didn't get its request in on time, and now there are no spaces available.

How much room does one table take up exactly?

Also, they sell poppies? When I was in cadets we gave them for free and just asked for donations (99% of people did).

No spaces available? Nice try. I've seen stores where two cadets stand at the entrance and sell poppies. Surely they have entrances at this mall.

    Early this year. Good.

Edit : By early I mean selling, not getting kicked out. Derp.

It's one sure way to take one hell of a PR hit.

Seems to be the politically correct thing to do in Montreal every year or so.

Carrefour Angrignon. Now I know where not to shop this holiday season.

Every fekin year we see stories like this. You'd think that the ingrates running these places would have at least taken some Canadian history in school so they'd understand the meaning and necessity of the Poppy Fund and that this service has been a staple of Canadian history since 1921.

I guess giving a 4 foot square space to some veteran or cadet cuts into the malls profitability and therefore the overly large bonus the mall manager so richly deserves.

Please send the mall an email to that effect.

It's interesting that both legion members spoke english to the reporter while the mall rep chose to speak in french.

This happens somewhere every year doesn't it? Every year some extra special retard who's never heard of the previous backlashes tries to shoo the poppy sellers away and then acts surprised when people get upset.
