    That sounds like quite a problem especially as the CF-18 on't have that handicap.

    Nah, it means they'll cost about $25 million more/unit for an effective comms package.

    We should buy Chinese. Lots of them shiny F35 parts might come from China so we could just cut out the middleman! :D

    I used to be a huge supporter of us getting the JSF, but after keeping tabs on the program the past couple of years or so, my support for it has tanked like Pauly Shore's movie career. In my opinion, we pull out and call an open competition for the CF-18 replacement.

    Agreed but give the decision making entirely over to the military and just give them a budget to stay on.
