Very glad to see Shalit is out.
Must have been 5 years of real hell.

So even Hamas admits 1 Israeli is worth 1000 Palestinians.
    Something to remember....

Good to see the kid made it back safe. This release will be a problem as they are going to end up just recapturing these people who have only sworn to attack the jewish state. Still, better then mass executions and more reprisals.

Hamas is claiming they are going to get more prisoners released. I guess this means that the terrorists will attempt to kidnap more Israelis. The reports say that this was Israel spitting in the eye of fatah for their statehood demand at the UN. Now hamas is seen as the hero of the Arabs.

I can pretty well guarantee you that some of those released are now working for Israel, and that they'll be getting some intel from this move

It can't have been easy being a Jewish soldier captured by Hamas and held for the past five years. This kid is gonna need a lot of help and support.

Agreed. I was actually quite surprised he was alive. I remember how the Israelis used to do swaps just to get the bodies of their dead back home.

They stated on a TV clip they will be capturing more Israeli soldiers. As much as I'm happy for him to have been released, it's going to cause many more problems. Israel will have to be more alert now (if that's possible).

Demographics is destiny. Israel will have no choice but to eventually either succumb to being overwhelmed demographically by Muslims within its own borders (the palestinian areas), or split. For every Jew born, i bet 10 Palestinians are born.
