Especially now when fighting in hockey is so contentious, we don't need goons like Asham acting like some WWE 'roid monkey after a fight.
I agree Asham's actions were totally classless but in the middle of the game, then winning the fight by a TKO his adrenalin and testosterone levels were probably through the roof, making any judgment he made at the time questionable to say the least. At least he had the balls to fess up to it afterwards, admit it was classless and uncalled for and apologize.
All in all, as far as fights go, things could have been worse.....
Look for him and his big brother to drop them because of the hit last year. They would have last year but the coach wouldn't put Eric out on the ice much of the 3rd period.
The Asham thing was kind of funny. He popped him and let him down to the ice without throwing anymore. OV should talk about Celi's .........he's the king.
