As the Occupy Wall Street movement continues to spread—with massive arrests Monday night in Boston—the tea party wants you to know that the progressive protests have nothing in common with its own grass-roots effort.
Yeah well, it's just like during the debt crisis - the Tea Party wanted to cut spending in programs - but only programs to which they are politically opposed.
They like to act like they are a better breed of politician, but in the end, they are just as hypocritical and greedy as all the others.
Not surprising that the union movement (all 10% of the American workforce that it is nowadays) would support the side that isn't trying to exterminate them (i.e. not the TeaParty and Wall Street).
Sure. Look at the Tea Party now. They've been completely co-opted by the GOP and made out to be some independent group when in reality, they simply parrot the same talking points that the GOP has been repeating for years.
Not to mention the fact that a lot of the TEa Party organisations are bankrolled by GOP fundraisers and PAC's.

And this is any different from the Occupy Wall Street having the same slogans and bullshit from the last decade or so of leftist protests, let alone it's connections with leftist NGOs and unions?
I'm not sure how you can even try to claim that this Occupy *Insert something here* protests are somehow grassroots.

Just asking for clarity.
Ok, well, they are worthy of sending young men to die for. Well, other people's young men, not yours.
You mean the grass roots protest in New York that now has Democrat support and Union bosses at the head?
Just asking for clarity.
Ug, Union Bad!
They're just upset because this is an actualy, grassroots protest. Unlike the Teabaggers who are just rebranded Republicans.
Wow, that was a good laugh, thank you.
Wait...you're not actually serious, are you?

Has been happening since the birth of democracy, won't be changing anytime soon.
Here's hoping these protests grow until millions of people are crowding the downtown and someone finally listens to the electorate.
... and someone finally listens to the electorate.
Does this "electorate" vote?
