A court appearance by a 12-year-old boy accused of bullying a schoolmate with muscular dystrophy was delayed on Wednesday after the Crown said it wasn't ready to proceed so soon after the victim's suicide.

Any way we could accuse the bully of murder, now?

It's nowhere close to murder nor will anything be done in this case.

Bullying is just one of those things that will be swept under the rug until another poor kid dies and then they'll pretend to do something about it again.

If they even bother to pretend.

An obituary said Wilson died suddenly at his Pickering home on Sept. 6 – one day after he was subpoenaed to testify against the alleged attacker.
And no one sees the connection between this subpoena and his suicide?

The kid is (was) 11. Why wasn't he allowed to testify before a judge behind closed doors, so he didn't have to face his attacker?

    Come on now.

Because we have a system that basically refuses to recognize bullying as a real issue and anything related to it either has absolutely no effect or is about punishing the kid that finally defended himself.

I'm okay with bullying being tolerated so long as everyone accepts the notion of dead bullies.

Apparently, we do accept the dead victims.

Yeah, but they probably deserved it.
