U.S. hikers freed by Iran board plane for home

Why not call it as it really was? A ransom was paid to terrorists for the release of stupid hikers who got themselves kidnapped. Not much different than the thugs who were kidnapping silly foreigners(Terry Waite) in Lebanon in in the 80s.

A million dollars 'bail'... well, I agree they were pretty stupid to hike in that area, no brainer one would think. However, I'd hate to think what their ultimate fate would be if it hadn't been paid, a millions isn't that much for a country to pay.

I know, I know, we should never give in to ransom demands... but ?

But what? At the very least these two numbnuts should have to pay back that million dollars, even if it takes them the rest of their lives.

Suppose for a second you caught two Iranians hiking around certian parts of our country or the US with no business being there with no visas.

I'd say they were spys, and if they were not they're really, really stupid. Serves them right.
