US Politicians don't like the thought of competition from their northern neighbours.

Crossing the border is a priveledge, not a right,
and it is subject to US regulations.

    Stop whining about the obvious.

There's no word on if the Americans will take further steps to keep the Loonies out.

If it is of any consequence, the US Dept. of Justice also places restrictions on Americans who've expressed suicidal tendencies or desires.

Suicidal people have a nasty tendency to not want to die alone - as we saw in Carson City this week when a suicidal man killed himself after killing three strangers as well. Meaning that we have enough nutbags of our own without letting them in from other countries as well.

In proper context, that picture is about the Russians trying to keep the East Germans .

Privacy is a right, and having confidential police *notes*, (not court proceedings or convictions) shared with the intelligence service of another nation is a violation of that privacy.

True, but it's hard to find pictures of American tanks on a border.
