Whenever I've heard this song on the radio, the word in question is censored or changed to something like yuppie.
The council also noted that that panel that banned the song was not aware that alternative versions of the song without the word "f****t" have been available since 1985. My own censoring

Way to do your research guys.

Are rap songs with 'nigger' allowed on mainstream radio?

Mr. Clemens books are banned from schools because of the word nigger. You have to wonder when the terms Jock, Paddy, or Taffy(Trog) are going to be deemed inappropriate.

I do. Sometimes I think it should happen and soon. I can go to work and tell a joke in an Irish accent and get some laughs. Do it in a native or East Indian accent and watch out.

Some groups are fair game, some groups are not.

Yes, but only if a black person says it. Go figure.

Really? So your average FM station plays songs with 'nigger' in them or are you referring to satellite?

What's "inappropriate" is untalented, cardboard, tight-ass bureaucrats evaluating art.

some self proclaimed artists don't have much of a grasp on the idea either.

What's this story got to do with Britain? The story concerns Canada.
