The Department of National Defence plans to develop a new stealth snowmobile for covert military operations in Canada's Arctic, with $550,000 set aside to build a prototype.

    Joking aside, a snowmobile is probably much more effective for achieving most aims in the arctic.

    Wouldn't the dude sitting on it give off a large enough bounce back to track it ? Unless he was also wearing somekind of stealth suit.

    They arent worried about a radar or heat signature, but how loud the vehicle is.
