Some vegans are forcing their pet cats to adopt their no-meat diets. Marco Pagliarulo, a vegan living in Toronto, said he has been feeding his seven-year-old male cat, Mishu, vegan food for more than a year.

It's a cat. It will probably get pissed off and eat his face off one night.

"My veterinarian friend doesn't agree with me, but like most human doctors, vets don't study nutrition."

Right, but I'm sure shit-for-brains here has studied nutrition for cats.
By the way, the reason vets and doctors don't study nutrition is because it's not an accredited course, unless things have changed recently.

Nice, in the sense these guys will be showing vegan wannabes how much of morons they are. PETA at it again as well, what a shocker.

I know it's been a long time since they said or did anything credible, but it's shit like this that undermines any legitimate point they or other animal welfare group makes. They are doing a disservice to credible groups anytime they open their moths and spew this idiocy.

But i'm quite sure the vets know that cats are carnivorous.

Felidae is the biological family of the cats; a member of this family is called a felid. Felids are the strictest carnivores of the thirteen terrestrial families in the order Carnivora.

Rodents and birds know this fact...i guess that puts these vegans several steps beneath birds on the evolutionary scale.

Yup... cats should be all fed a vegan diet.

    Think about it.

Vegans are extreme vegetarians. They don't use any animal products including: meat, eggs, milk, leather, honey, or even silk - because it enslaves silk worms.

That just made me laugh so hard, my day is already made

The IQ level of PETA must be into the negative with rocket scientists like this twit in it's ranks.

Next thing for PETA, getting Great White sharks on a vegan diet. Who wants to go with me and take pictures while they try this?....

They would still need a suplement to their diet.
