Libyan government forces tapped into their stores of Scud missiles during the weekend, firing one for the first time in this year's conflict with rebels, but hurting no one, U.S. defence officials said Monday.

    This was just talked about on CBC news. Apparently he has somewhere in the neighbourhood of 200 Scuds. I wonder if he is getting desperate due to the encroachment of rebels on Tripoli.
