The 300m (990ft) carrier has been one of China's worst-kept secrets, analysts say. The Chinese navy's first aircraft carrier has begun its sea trials, the state-run Xinhua news agency has said.
Hopefully it was contructed with the same quality control as they use with their manufactured goods that they export in which as it will fall apart shortly.
Just another world problem, China rearming. They could stay with a modest force and their atomic bomb plus their role in the world economy. Now we have to worry about some adventure by a Chinese leader.
