Inscribed in black ink on calfskin vellum, the names in the Seventh Book of Remembrance are meant to last 600 years. Each page is lined in gold and coloured in pigment much like the ancient manuscripts once drawn by cloistered monks.
If you have a relative who died in the wars, you can request a copy of their page from the Book of Rememberance, they send you a colour copy of it as well as a personalized letter fromt he Sgt at Arms of the House, thanking your family for your relatives sacrifice. I got my Great Uncles from WWI

This is my uncles' page and oddly enough a good friend of mine's grandfather's page too.
