The Vancouver Canucks have signed veteran forwards Owen Nolan and Todd Fedoruk to professional tryout contracts.

    What's a "professional tryout contract"?

    Nolan might be nice to have. Don't know much about Fedoruk.

    Ya, but he's a pretty solid player. This just seems to be a Tryout though, so it's not an official acquisition yet.
